BrandNames is still pre-launch. The only thing it collects right now is the email address you choose to hand over. This page lays out what happens to it.
§ 01 · What's collected
If you join the launch list, BrandNames stores the email address you type in and the page it came from. The site host also keeps standard technical logs, things like the time of the request and a rough region, the kind every web server records. There are no accounts and no payments on the site yet.
§ 02 · How it's used
Your launch-list email does one job, letting you know when BrandNames opens, plus the odd short update before then. It's never sold, rented, or traded.
§ 03 · Where it's stored
Launch-list emails sit in a secure database (Supabase) that only the BrandNames server can write to. The only people who can see them are the ones who run the service.
§ 04 · Cookies
The site uses cookies sparingly. A short-lived preview cookie might be set so a teammate can see gated pages before launch. There's no advertising and no cross-site tracking.
§ 05 · Your choices
To leave the launch list or have your address removed, write to hello@brandnames.so and it'll be deleted.
§ 06 · Changes
This is a plain-English summary for the pre-launch site. A fuller policy, checked by a lawyer, will replace it before BrandNames starts taking payments. See also the terms.
